Laser stippling adds a unique pattern or design to the majority of the grip. Hex or honeycomb is a popular and functional option. It provides an increase in grip over the stock texture and is especially helpful for sweaty hands as it maintains grip but still ventilates the palm.
The area where the fingers grip and hold the frame are meticulously hand stippled to provide maximum grip where you are holding it the tightest. This combination is not only functional but also provides a custom aesthetic upgrade over stock and is much more durable and functional than any grip tape.
